Tanimu Turaki, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) on Saturday, arrived at the residence of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, for a visit
Turaki, in the company of some Executive Members of his faction of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), arrived at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) shortly before noon.
Also in his company are, former Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, former Governor of Plateau, Jonah Jang, among other party leaders.
The PDP chairman was received by the state chairman of the party, Abayomi Tella, and other party leaders in the state.
Turaki immediately went into a closed door meeting with the Obasanjo.
Althouh details of their meeting is not yet maade public, it is expected that it would dwell on the crisis rocking the party, of which Obasanjo was a member.
