For Super Eagles and Atalanta star, Ademola Lookman,, the road to returning to Atalanta action may be long and treacherous as he is still training apart from the main squad after his transfer standoff with the Italian.side.
JESNews recalls that it was reported last week that the reigning CAF African player of the year winner will rejoin the first-team squad after he featured for the Super Eagles in 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa.
But that has yet to come to fruition and Atalanta coach Ivan Juric has gone on to say that Lookman will not play in tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League clash against PSG.
He also questioned Lookman’s loyalty after an earlier saying that he will not beg him to play.
