Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church has revealed how a kidnapped pastor of the church was quickly freed after he dropped some fiery words on the kidnappers..
Bishop Oyedepo disclosed this during a sermon, captured in a viral video, where the revered cleric said when the kidnappers called for ransom, he took the telephone and gave a 24-hour ultimatum for the release of the pastor.
According to Oyedepo, “one time, one of our pastors was kidnapped. When they called, I said give me the phone and I told them, in 24 hours if you don’t release him you are dead”.
He said, after the conversation, “the place was vibrating” and the victim was released immediately.
He appealed to members to freely give his phone number to kidnappers anytime they are abducted.
“If anybody picks you, give them my number. If he is not cut down, then I’m not sent. You carry the same force if you discover it”, said Oyedepo.
He also recounted how a female member of the church was kidnapped but quickly let go after she spoke to the abductors.
“One of our daughters was captured somewhere she told them that ‘my father said I’m getting out of here latest by 7 am’, and the kidnappers started cutting themselves”, he said.
