The Police Service Commission (PSC) has wielded the big stick as it dismissed four senior police officers and slapped disciplinary measures on 31 other police officers.

The PSC spokesperson noted that the decision was made during the plenary meeting of the commission in Abuja.
He said further that ten police officers received reduction in rank, two were compulsorily retired, three received warning letters, while seven were exonerated.
“In addition to the dismissals, the commission approved a range of disciplinary actions which affected multiple officers,” the PSC spokesperson said.
