Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen netted two goals as Galatasaray won the Turkish League with a 4-2 fight back win over Antalyaspor on Saturday.
The former African player of the year winner scored the equaliser before putting Gala in front with two minutes left on the clock.
Mario Lemina had started the comeback, while Kaan Ayhan added ice to the scoreline to get the title party into full swing on 90 minutes.
This is Galatasaray’s 26th Turkish Lig title in the team’s history, pushing back Fenerbahce, their bitter foes who will end the season in second position.
With their triumph, Galatasaray qualify automatically for the group phase of next season’s UEFA Champions League.
Osimhen sent the goalkeeper the wrong way from the penalty spot for 2-2, before producing a deft flick after the goalkeeper spilled a long range shot to send the desperate hosts into celebration mode.
His goals tally also rose to 15 goals in 21 league matches this season.
This is Osimhen’s second with Galatasaray after joining the side on an loan deal last season.
The former FIFA Under-17 World Cup winner has won three league titles in his football career, including his maiden with Napoli in 2023/24 season.
