YouTube has released its official 2025 Nigeria Year-in-Review, highlighting most watched music videos, spotlighting digital creators and entertainment content that dominated viewing trends among Nigerian audiences this year.

In the freshly released list, gospel singer, Akinade “Gaise Baba” Ibuoye, and famous Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, emerged as the most outstanding figures on the platform.

The announcement was made through a statement signed by YouTube’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, Addy Awofisayo.

Gaise Baba dominated the music category with his viral hit “No Turning Back II,” in which he featured Lawrence Oyor, finishing as the most streamed Nigerian music video on the platform for the year.

The video, which was released in mid-May, quickly spread across the country and gathered more than forty-one million views within six months, earning massive engagement from fans.
