Nigerian singer, Omawumi, has revealed that she dated popular late music producer, Dokta Frabz.
Omawumi also said she was close to late rapper, Dagrin.
There were rumours that Omawumi and Dagrin dated after the release of their collaborative hit ‘Thank God’ in 2009.
Speaking in a recent interview with Jay On Air, Omawumi clarified that her relationship with the late rapper was only cordial and they often hanged out when he was alive.
“Dagrin was my guy, we used to hanged out together. He was a fantastic person,” Omawumi said.
“I was drawn to Dokta Frabz because he such a lover of music. He was incredibly talented. He would look into my eyes while singing and I would be cheering.
“And because of that, I was always around him -in his studio. I met most of the music industry figures through Dokta Frabz. We actually dated,” she said.
Dagrin died in an auto crash in April 2010, while Dokta Frabz passed away in 2021.
