Adamu Abubakar, son of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Adamu, a former commissioner in Adamawa State under Ahmadu Fintiri, resigned his position after the governor joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former commissioner on Thursday, left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before pitching his tent with ADC.
A few hours after his resignation, Adamu completed his online registration with the ADC, a party where his father is aspiring to contest the 2027 election.
In an X post on Thursday night, Adamu called on “all my supporters and well wishers to join me by registering with the ADC as we work together to advance the cause of good governance and national development”.
