The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the indefinite extension of the deadline for the submission of nomination and expression of interest forms.
Secretary of the publicity sub-committee of the national convention organising committee (NCOC), Debo Ologunagba, who announced the extension in a statement issued in Abuja, stated that the initial deadline of September 26 has been set aside, and a new date will be made public once decided.
He noted that the screening of aspirants, earlier fixed for September 30, has also been postponed, even as he added that the extension was to allow smooth preparations for the exercise.
“The new dates will be communicated in due course, and aspirants are advised to take note and be guided accordingly,” he said.
The party’s national elective convention is scheduled for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan.
