Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has announced the passing of her mother.
Aigbe shared the sad news on Instagram on Tuesday with a candlelight image against a broken heart background, captioned: “R.I.P Mum.”
The announcement immediate witnessed a flurry of condolence messages from her colleagues, fans, and friends in the entertainment industry.
Actress Iyabo Ojo wrote: “So sorry ore, may her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
Controversial crossdresser Idris Olanrewaju commented: “Sorry sis.”
Actress Dayo Amusa wrote, “My sincere condolences, Agbeke.”
Motilola also wrote: “So sorry, Momma. Accept my condolences.”
