Acclaimed model, Naomi Campbell says she has left her wild days behind and now sees herself simply as “just a mom.”
The 55-year-old, who is raising two young kids, shared the emotional side of being a mother in a new campaign for fashion designer Tolu Coker’s Spring 2026 collection.
Instead of the catwalk, Campbell starred in a cinematic short film exploring motherhood and Black womanhood in fashion.
“I’m just a mom. That’s how I think of myself today,” she said.
Naomi, who welcomed her daughter in 2021 and a son in 2023, through surrogacy, revealed that motherhood has given her a new sense of discipline and joy. “With my kids I’m fun, but I’m measured. I find myself saying things my grandmother used to say to me,” she added.
The British icon glazed in retro-inspired looks for the shoot ranging from a white mini dress with knee-high socks to a striking lemon gown and tailored brown outfit.
Naomi admitted she was never looking for a father for her kids, stressing: “They are 110 per cent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.”
The supermodel, once known for her fiery persona, says her biggest legacy now is family. “Those who know me know that more than anything, I always wanted to be a mother,” she said.
