American gospel singer, songwriter and producer, Don Moen, has mourned the passing of Ron Kenoly, who died at the age of 81 on Tuesday.
Moen and Kenoly forged partnerships and collaborations on several stages across the United States and across the world, promoting the kingdom of God through worship and praise,
Joining the rest of the world to pay tributes to Kenoly, Moen, 75, recounted how they both met and worked under the Hosanna Music record label.
“I’ll always remember meeting Ron Kenoly for the first time at Jubilee Christian Center in San Jose, California. He was leading worship, and I invited him on behalf of Integrity Music to lead worship for one of the Hosanna! Music releases that would become ‘Jesus Is Alive,'” he wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
Moen, who is also a pastor best known for worship standards such as ‘God Will Make a Way’ and ‘Thank You, Lord’, said he knows he would see Kenoly again someday.
“That was just the beginning. Over the years we’d work on more projects, share stages around the world, and develop a long-lasting friendship. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” My heart is heavy with this loss, but I know one day I will see my friend again,” he stated.
