Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, says he never knew Mr Eazi, son-in-law of his billionaire, Femi Otedola, runs businesses in 18 African countries.
Dangote revealed this in his speech at the wedding of Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi.
In the viral video, Dangote lauded the entrepreneurial spirit of Mr Eazi.
According to the billionaire, the couple would in the future be called the richest people on earth.
“I never knew that you have businesses in 18 countries in Africa. I must really congratulate you for being a great guy,” he stated.
“Knowing that the two of you are always very charming, very entrepreneurial, I’m sure in the next few years we will take a back seat and call you the richest people on earth,” he said.
He further said of Otedola, the chairman of Geregu Power and First Bank:
“Femi is not only my friend, he is my brother. Where you see me, you see Femi. If there is any brother that I have that is not of the same mother and father, that brother is Femi.”
