Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the nomination of former Governor of the state, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Presently the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Ladoja was not long ago nominated as the Olubadan-designate by the kingmakers in Ibadanland.
The coronation of the former governor has been fixed for Friday, 26th September 2025.
The grand coronation is scheduled to take place at the ancient Mapo hall.
Media Aide to former governor, Adeola Oloko, who confirmed the development to journalists in Ibadan on Wednesday, stated that,“Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.”
