Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Esosa Iyawe, has described the election of Jarrett Tenebe as the Chairman of the All Progressive Party in Edo State as a positive development that will propel the ruling party to more defining progress as the build up to the 2027 general election gathers steam.

Your election reflects the trust and confidence the party and its members have in your leadership, dedication, and vision for advancing unity and progress in Edo State.
“As you assume this important responsibility, I am confident that your tenure will usher in greater unity, stability, and progress for our party in Edo State.. Once again, Congratulations.
“I sincerely commend the delegates for presenting themselves in a peaceful, orderly, and responsible manner throughout the congress. Their conduct demonstrates political maturity and a shared commitment to strengthening our democratic values”, added Esosa Iyawe, a consummate and impactful politician, who has sponsored several bills on the floor of the green chambers.
Continuing, Esosa Iyawe commended the APC national leadership for charting a level playing field for all contestants at the Edo State APC Congress. He also reserved special praise for Edo State Governor.
“I also appreciate the National Executive Council of our great party for providing the necessary guidance and oversight that ensured a credible and transparent process. Furthermore, I commend the number one leader of our party in the state, His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo for his leadership and support in ensuring a peaceful and hitch-free congress across the state”, said Esosa Iyawe.
