Chairman of Delta Sports Commission, Onos Oborevwori has charged Delta Queens not to settle for anything but victory when they confront Danaz Ladies in a Nigerian Women’s Football League match tomorrow in Lagos.
Delta Queens are fifth on the Group B table and are seeking to finish the season amongst the top three best finishers while Dannaz Ladies are rooted to the bottom of the table.
Delta Queens are riding high at the moment, all thanks to the encouragement and support they have received from the Delta State government, through the Delta Sports Commission, the prime body responsible for running sports in Delta State, adjudged to be the undisputed champion of sports in Nigeria.

Ahead of tomorrow’s contest in Lagos, the chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, Onos Oborevwori has stormed the city of splendour to cheer Delta Queens to a much desired victory over Dannaz Ladies.
“Our motto is to give maximum support to all our teams and as our ladies Delta Queens play in Lagos on April 8, it is important for us to give them all the support they need to excel and I hope that my presence and support will push our ladies to victory”, said Onos Oborevwori.
The Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission said he would continue pushing for the success of all Delta State athletes and teams in his collective mission yos strengthen and deepen the growth and dominance of Delta sports in Nigeria and abroad.
