Coach Eric Chelle has charged CHAN Eagles to go all out for victory against Sudan tomorrow, in order to revive their 2024 CHAN campaign.
CHAN Eagles lost 1-0 to defending champions Senegal in their opening match of the tournament last week.
On Tuesday, the Nigerian team will square up with Sudan, who played a 1-1 draw with Congo in their first Group D encounter
Speaking at the pre-match news conference in Zanzibar, Chelle said, “It’s a big game, an important game against Sudan, we need to win tomorrow and after that we will see.
“To win this game will be very good for the team, it will give us the possibility to go past the group stage.”
The Super Eagles coach also addressed the prevalence of Remo Stars players on the CHAN Eagles squad, pointing out that other teams in the CHAN tournament also have such domination by their top.clubs
“Remo Stars are the best team in Nigeria and we try to bring the best players to this tournament,” he said.
