22-year-old Levante and Cameroon striker, Etta Eyong, has been catching the eyes of millions of La Liga fans because of his talent, quality, productivity and alertness in the opposition den.
Without a doubt, Etta Eyong has become one of LaLiga’s breakout stars this season.
Over the first 10 match days, the highly inventive Cameroonian has recorded six goals and three assists, splitting his contributions between Villarreal, where he began the campaign, netting a goal and assisting two goals and his present side, Levante, where he has bagged 5 goals and 1 assist.
Eyong, who is reportedly on the target list of Barcelona, could soon see one of his big dreams come to full realisation.

If Barcelona decide to move forward with his signing and financial fair play regulations allow the deal to go through in the upcoming January transfer window, the date by which Eyong hopes to settle his future , the striker would officially join the Catalan giants next summer.
It would be a symbolic moment for him, five years ago, a 17-year-old Etta Eyong proudly posed wearing a Barcelona shirt in a photo taken in his hometown of Douala, Cameroon, where he grew up looking up to Samuel Eto’o, as his football idol. Eto’o is undoubtedly one of the country’s and Africa’s football icons.
Despite his admiration for Barcelona, Eyong also maintains a good and fluid relationship with Real Madrid’s star Kylian Mbappé, whose father remrakably hails from Douala.
The two players, who have already faced each other on the pitch, have exchanged messages in the past and Mbappe reportedly would not mind seeing Eyong at Madrid next season. For now, Barça lead the race, but the club must act quickly.
