The Principal Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor on Youth and Media Mobilization, Atu Terver, has reportedly been abducted by unidentified persons.
Terver’s wife was said to have raised the alarm over the husband’s situation in a social media post on Tuesday night.
According to her, she received a distress call from her husband in a frightened tone, saying: “I have been abducted, call mummy.”
It was reported that attempts to reach his phone afterwards were unsuccessful.
Terver, popularly known as popularly referred to as Krayzeetee, recently made headlines for sacking one of his own aides who participated in a protest against killings in the state.
Authorities are yet to officially confirm the abduction or provide details on rescue efforts.
