Reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, held a tribute to honour three former housemates who have passed away, Francisca Owumi, Joseph Ada, and Rico Swavey.
The housemates of the ongoing Season 10 gathered as images of the late stars were shown on screen, followed by a solemn minute of silence to commemorate their memory on Monday.
The tribute recognised Owumi, the runner-up of the 2006 debut season, celebrated for her “vibrant, free-spirited personality and passion for dance.”
She passed away in 2024 after battling an illness.
Joseph “Joe” Ada, another 2006 housemate, was remembered following his death in May 2023, due to health struggles.
Rico Swavey (Patrick Fakoya) from the 2018 Double Wahala season, known for his creativity and calm presence, was also honoured after his tragic death in a car accident three years ago.
