The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, says the recent violent killings in Kwara, Katsina, and other parts of the country are indications that Nigeria has no government”.
In a post on his X handle on Saturday, Abdullahi referenced a 2014 comment by President Bola Tinubu, who as former governor of Lagos, had written that “the festering Boko Haram attacks on the North East and massacre of innocent citizens is concrete proof that Nigeria has no government.”
Following the growing attacks by bandits and terrorists in many parts of the country, Tinubu’s 2014 post has now become a reference for the critics of his administration.
In his comment on Saturday, the ADC spokesperson replicated Tinubu’s post to describe the current security situation in the country.
“The festering insecurity and violent attacks in Kwara, Katsina and other parts of the country, and massacre of innocent Nigerians is concrete proof that Nigeria has no government,” he wrote, echoing Tinubu’s words.
