The UEFA Champions League has disclosed the prize money distributed among all teams that took part in the most recent edition, with champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) topping the earnings chart after getting a total of €144 million.
Barcelona’s run to the semifinals translated into a financial reward of €116.5 million. Real Madrid CF, booted out in the quarterfinals, received €101.8 million in prize money.
Atlético de Madrid, knocked out in the round of 16, got €84.9 million, while Girona FC, who crashed at the group stage, took home €29.9 million.
In the Europa League and Conference League, Tottenham Hotspur finished as the top earner in the former competition, collecting €41.3 million in addition to lifting the trophy.
Chelsea FC, winners of the Conference League, received €21.8 million, while finalists Real Betis earned €17 million.
UEFA’s report notes that although the distribution system has changed for the 2024–2027 cycle, the underlying principle remains the same.
Prize money is calculated based on estimated gross revenues of €4.4 billion. Also, €22 million is allocated to women’s club competitions and €3 million to the UEFA Youth League.
