Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, has revealed that she cannot date men who would make effort to first know her and be her friend.
In a recent interview with American outfit, Complex, the ‘Love Me Jeje’ crooner said she cannot date unfriendly or uncurious men.
According to her, the essence of relationship is lost if a partner is not friendly and curious about their spouse.
“My dating terms are someone who is not trying to be your friend is a red flag. Anybody that isn’t curious about you is also a red flag. Because what are we doing? Why are we here if you don’t want to know me?
“If he or she doesn’t want to know more about you, end the relationship,” she said.
Tems said she is a “lover girl” but trying to be careful due to past experiences.
She added that she is more focused on self-love currently.
