Shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, Austin Reaves, has missed three consecutive games due to a groin strain but is said to be close to returning to action, possibly as soon as this week.
Lakers head coach JJ Redick, said Reaves is expected to make his comeback at some point during the team’s current four-game road trip.
“Since the pain is mild, I expect him to return at some point on this trip,” Redick told Lakers reporter Mike Trudell.
Reaves has had a sensational start in the 2025–26 season, averaging 31.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 9.3 assists per game.
Even without LeBron James, who is sidelined with sciatica and is expected to miss all four games on the road, the Los Angeles Lakers have started the season strongly, posting an impressive 7–3 record.
