Popular Nigerian skitmaker, Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Sanku, has died in a fatal car accident along Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State. Nollywood actor, Yemi Elesho, confirmed Sanku’s death on his social media pages on Monday.
Last month, Sanku released a skit depicting himself in heaven after death, where he lamented the absence of many people as he had expected. In the video, he urged his partner to head to hell so they could enjoy life together.
Nollywood actors have taken to social media to mourn Sanku’s death.
Actress Funmi Awelewa, expressed heartbreak, saying, “The pain, the effort, the strength, the struggle… walai nothing make sense. I’m heartbroken. Even film sef never come out! It does not make sense.”
Earlier, influencer Jidex shared a video of the mangled vehicle, revealing that several passengers were injured in the crash.
Sanku and another victim were critically hurt, but the comedian later succumbed to his injuries.
“This is heartbreaking.
“Someone who left home in good health is suddenly gone. It is painful, especially coming just a day after the passing of Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor,” Jidex wrote.
